Get SOL (Solana)
You need SOL to trade on pump.fun. Here's how to get it:
Option A: Buy on Exchange
- Sign up for Coinbase, Binance, or Kraken
- Complete KYC verification
- Buy SOL with fiat (USD, EUR, etc.)
- Withdraw SOL to your Phantom wallet address
Option B: Swap from Another Chain
- Use a bridge like Portal (Wormhole)
- Connect both wallets
- Bridge USDC or USDT to Solana
- Swap for SOL on Jupiter or Raydium
How much SOL do you need? Start with 0.1-0.25 SOL per trade for testing. Fees are minimal or null depending on the platform - worth checking prior to trading so you don't leave funds stranded.

Connect to Pump.fun
- Go to pump.fun
- Click "Log in" button in the top right corner
- Select your wallet provider (Phantom, Solflare, etc.)
- Approve the connection request in your wallet popup
- Your wallet address and SOL balance will appear in the interface
- You can now access all features: Home, Livestreams, Advanced, Chat
Scam Alert: Only connect to the official pump.fun domain. Scammers create fake sites to steal funds. Also consider downloading the mobile app for faster trades.

Finding Tokens
- Browse 'Now trending' section on homepage for popular tokens
- Check /live page for livestreaming creators promoting their tokens
